Why Should We Be CSR Certified?

Tara Vicars / 10 Jan 2021

“We strive to be one of the good guys.

“We make a conscious effort to reduce our environmental impact.

“We put an emphasis on good leadership and team building.

“We support good causes in the community and around the world.

“So why do we need certification?”

These are common, and valid points. Doing the right thing for the sake of it is quite enough. Altruism and responsibility are their own reward.

But who else knows what you’re doing? Who can verify that you’re actually doing what you say you’re doing? 90%* of your customers and team now expect you to do good as an integral part of your business. But if you’re doing good and no one knows, it’s not helping you. In fact, it could be detrimental because in the absence of evidence, people tend to make up their own minds.

Our CSR Certification Programme does just that

We walk you through a straightforward process that puts checks in place on what you’re currently accomplishing through your CSR, and showcases your work to those who matter. It’s a simple and effective way to know and show that you’re responsible. It helps you build your business.

There are a few easy steps to take to become certified:

  1. Take the 3 minute quiz to see where you currently stand.
  2. Decide which level you would like to apply for – bronze, silver, or gold. (The quiz will give you a good idea of which level is appropriate for your business at this moment in time.)
  3. Submit your application.
  4. Wait one week for our review. If necessary, we will give you any advice you need in order for you to be certified.
  5. Pay the annual certification fee and start proudly displaying your Certification. We provide a framed certificate for reception and logos for use on your website and online communications.

We look at three key areas of your business to ascertain certification readiness.

These are the most important aspects of Corporate Social Responsibility in any business, anywhere around the world.

1 – People & Wellbeing

2 – Environment

3 – Community & Charity

With three different levels of certification, the degree of readiness in each level changes. To see the full list, please visit The Standards.

We know that you’re striving to better the world through your business. Now it’s time to prove it to others.

Start with the 3 minute quiz and please email hello@dentalcsr.co.uk if you have any questions.
